REMINDER! CARA will be CLOSED on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in observance of Independence Day. We will re-open at our regularly scheduled time (8am-12pm) on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Our mission at CARA is to provide reliable, convenient, and free recycling services for Charlotte and the surrounding communities. Through responsible material recovery, community donations, and local millage support, we work to divert waste from landfills, promote environmental stewardship, and make sustainable living easy and accessible for everyone.
