The Charlotte Area Recycling Authority (CARA) is a local drop-off recycling center for residents in and surrounding the Charlotte, Michigan area, located at 201 Hall Street. The Center is funded through donations, sale of recyclable materials and grants from Eaton County Resource Recovery. While recycling is a free service, donations are always welcomed and greatly appreciated.

String Light Collection Event Continues to 01/31/23
Our annual string light collection is back thanks to our partnership with Eaton County Resource Recovery, now through January 31st, we will be collecting string lights (such as Christmas and holiday lights) for recycling.
