The Charlotte Area Recycling Authority (CARA) is a local drop-off recycling center for residents in and surrounding the Charlotte, Michigan area, located at 201 Hall Street. The Center is funded through donations, sale of recyclable materials and grants from Eaton County Resource Recovery. While recycling is a free service, donations are always welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Recycle Your Wrapper Paper for Firefly Farms! Now thru January!
You can recycle your slightly used or extra wrapping paper (no crumpled or wadded pieces please) at CARA now thru January - if unable to bring to CARA, City Hall at 111 E. Lawrence will has be a collection point!
