The Charlotte Area Recycling Authority (CARA) is a local drop-off recycling center for residents in and surrounding the Charlotte, Michigan area, located at 201 Hall Street. The Center is funded through donations and the sale of recyclable materials. While recycling is a free service, donations are always welcomed and greatly appreciated.
We’re excited to share that CARA will be OPEN on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 8am to 12pm for all of your recycling needs!
