The Charlotte Area Recycling Authority (CARA) is a local drop-off recycling center for residents in and surrounding the Charlotte, Michigan area, located at 201 Hall Street. The Center is funded through donations, sale of recyclable materials and grants from Eaton County Resource Recovery. While recycling is a free service, donations are always welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately CARA will be CLOSED on Saturday, January 29, 2022 due to the predicted freezing temps. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
