COOKING OIL RECYCLING REMINDER

 *ATTENTION RECYCLERS* 

Recently, staff members have been finding jugs of cooking oil being left on the ground next to the cooking oil container.  Please do not leave jugs or bottles of cooking oil for staff to take care, this is a self-service container.  Also these jugs and bottles cannot be recycled after being emptied unless they are washed first. We ask that after you empty your jugs, you then take them home to be cleaned. Once cleaned, you can return them to CARA to be recycled. Thank you for understanding!

Earth Day is quickly approaching!
Everyone can help keep our planet clean and beautiful. 

Here are some easy ideas for celebrating Earth Day: 

*Reduce (buy less, especially plastic). 
*Reuse (repurpose it, find new uses for one-time use items).
*Recycle (clean and sorted right!).   
*Cut down on your energy use/waste. 
*Spend the day outside cleaning up a park, a field, a community garden, etc.
*Plant trees, vegetables, fruits, flowers, etc.
