A friendly reminder that clamshell containers are NOT accepted at CARA. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We understand the confusion, but a #1 clamshell container is NOT the same as a #1 bottle and they cannot be recycled the same way. Clamshells create significant contamination problems if they make it in with other plastics, as they must be heated at a different temperature and recycled separately.

CLOSED for Frontier Days!

Please be aware that we will be CLOSED on Saturday, September 7th due to Frontier Days! We will reopen at regularly scheduled hours on Tuesday September 10th for all of your recycling needs. Have a wonderful Frontier Days weekend!
