Charlotte Area Recycling Authority

The Charlotte Area Recycling Authority (CARA) is a local drop-off recycling center for residents in and surrounding the Charlotte, Michigan area, located at 201 Hall Street. The Center is funded through donations, sale of recyclable materials and grants from Eaton County Resource Recovery. While recycling is a free service, donations are always welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Next time you go to throw something away, ask yourself, is it recyclable?!

Even though 80% of our waste is recyclable, only 30% actually gets recycled. Lets all do our part and recycle everything that we can!
